I love clouds. And the Colorado skies are a beautiful backdrop for them.
This last photo was taken during a torrential downpour with black, black clouds. Buckets and buckets of rain. Yet over to the north there was a hole punched through the clouds to the blue sky, with a gorgeous, fluffy cloud up there reflecting the sun. This photo doesn’t come close to capturing how beautiful it was. And it was so close by the dichotomy was striking. Reminded me how sometimes things can look so dismal and God can feel so far away, but He’s really right there, close, just like He always is.
